I've spent my career on the technical side of Microsoft business applications: the layer where a clean configuration meets real-world complexity and someone has to write the code that bridges the gap. That's the work I enjoy most, and it's all Teqtive does.
Functional consultants and citizen developers can take Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform a long way. I come in for the rest: the plugin that enforces a rule the platform won't, the component the standard form can't render, the integration that has to be right every time. I care about systems that are still maintainable a year after I'm gone.
I work freelance and remotely with teams across the Netherlands and beyond, hired as a project delivery partner, an embedded specialist for a sprint or release, or a reviewer you can hand the hard questions to.
A few things I won't compromise on.
- →Pro-code is a last resort, used well. If the platform can do it without custom code, it should. When code is the right answer, it's written to be tested, traced and maintained.
- →No black boxes. Everything I build is documented and handed over. You should never depend on me to understand your own system.
- →Architecture before activity. A day spent on the data model and extension design saves weeks of rework. I push for that day every time.
- →Honest about fit. If a problem isn't mine to solve, I'll say so and point you somewhere better. A good referral beats a bad engagement.
